Our story.

Our story begins with a dream seeded by being raised in a country general store that grew into aspirations to open a general spiritual store. Empowering natural remedies steeped in folk medicine and ancient wisdom and sourcing goods that support the mystical lifestyle of seekers, we traveled, struggled, learned, and sought for 25 years. Returning to our Appalachian roots, we settled on the family farm as the 8th generation holder and started barn renovations for operations of the vision of Townsend Draft Goods. We’re country (the accent won’t deny), we’re kind (to all walks of life), and we believe in universal wisdom and connection.

2025 - Start operations in Mill Gap, Virginia after barn renovation is complete

We start operations in Mill Gap, Virginia from our rural location on the farm after several months of renovation of a barn.

January - Move into the new space; prep the operations space

February - Start promos and prep for the annual Maple Festival; shipments of new products

March - Open public access to our operations during Maple Festival

2024 - Relocate business to family farm in Virginia & Renovate barn for operations

March - Re-establish from West Virginia to Virginia

October - December - Renovate existing barn space for operations & warehouse location

2012 - 2018 - Create Tadasana Goats LLC & Build Yoga & Ayurveda side-business in Oregon

Create & launch Tadasana Goats LLC based on bohemian yogini & gypsy spirt ideals

Teach Yoga & Ayurveda workshops and courses
