We're gearing up for the biggest event of the year in Highland County, Virginia, The Maple Festival. It takes place every March for two weekends (2nd & 3rd weekend). 2025 dates are March 8-9 and March 15-16.

For 65 years, the sparsely populated Highland county (lowest populated county in Virginia) is infiltrated with 1000s of visitors to tour and taste the pleasures of Maple syrup! Yes, Highland County is abundant in Maple trees and that sweet syrup is sought after.

Townsend Draft Goods is nestled along the Sugar Trail tour map - unmarked! We're located in Mill Gap at the intersection of 600 & 84 in a red barn in the field (further down from #4)! We will open our warehouse doors for those travelers coming through the country roads during those two weekends in March! Stop by and say hello!
