Ashwagandha has been used in Ayurvedic, Unani, and Sub-Saharan African traditions for millennia as Rasayana (rejuvenator) for a plethora of applications, including sleep difficulties, debility, reproductive health, skin and digestive conditions, joint pain, and immune support. Ashwagandha is a wonderful adaptogen because it strikes a balance between relaxing and energizing.*
