When living in health, it is never 100 percent. If you meet someone living 100 percent healthy, get their autograph.
For me, my journey to living a "healthy lifestyle" came with comprises. I tried the 100 precent method for a 4-year stent where I was vegetarian, mediated at 4 a.m. every day, cut out caffeine and alcohol. I walked the line. Even lived in a secluded community with a regimented schedule. But that just doesn't work for the average person living in the real world. (I have met and do know a couple exceptions, and will gladly share if you ask me.)
The 80/20.
Do 80 percent good and let yourself sin for 20 percent. Sin in this context is wine, sugar, and a good country breakfast! Yup. Eat that sausage biscuit & gravy once a month! (That's 'bout 20 percent if you're calculating weekly on a full calendar.)

My advice from an herbal medicine perspective with country roots?
Stay "good" with your food and herbal supplements for most of the time. And when you're bad, be bad.
