The Townsend Draft Goods logo has a Raven with a Top Hat. The Raven is me because it was a nickname that stuck and the Top Hat is my sister because it was an accessory that stuck.
So, the logo represents us.
When you visit Townsend Draft Goods, most likely you're gonna meet us together - The Townsend Twins. Yes, we are identical twins. Townsend is our family name and how the locals always refer to us.
I run the business. She volunteers
I own and operate the business. My sister volunteers on her time off from the Post Office, which is most Saturday afternoons. On special events, she will take leave to help me.
The Top Hat & The Wardrobe
Her signature piece is her Top Hat, an accessory that has been a companion for many years, along with other hats. Her signature is the feathers & accessories she wears with her collection. She has always had the eclectic look with a wardrobe that makes anyone question which century and what inspiration. Most pieces are custom altered & tailored by her using scissors and bobby pins.
