Around the bend is "Lower Back Creek" and nestled in that beautiful area is the Back Creek Farms, a Casual sugar shack known for traditional and infused maple syrups, plus barrel-aged varieties. Pat is not only an expert in making maple syrup, he also knows the land and the benefits that mother nature provides. This version of Burdock (referred to as Sour Doc) is his go-to for bee stings and bug bites! Bringing a leaf by to show the amazing qualities of this plant, we put it to the test right there in the shop. Yes, it works!!
Gift of Lavender & Scoring Jars at an Estate Sale
We love the gift of herbs, especially lavender! Look at this beautiful bundle from good friends! We store our herbs in glass jars and was elated to score some jars at an estate sale!

Our shop is located in a renovated barn known by the locals as "The Auction Barn" because our grandfather was an auctioneer and held weekly auctions back in the 80s & 90s. So we decided to sponsor a throw-back auction! It will be an evening of FOOD, MUSIC, DOOR PRIZES, 50/50 RAFFLE & DEALS!
